我要动身，现在就走，去茵尼斯芙莉， 1

到那儿盖上一座小屋，用茅草和粘土，2

我要有九条豆垄，一座蜂房，

要在一片林中空地，伴着蜂鸣，独自生活，

1、Innisfree是叶芝故乡斯莱戈县东约 3 公里的吉尔湖的湖心岛，此外Innisfree也是Inis Fáil的变体，传说中达努神族以四宝之一的Fáil石将爱尔兰岛命名为Inis Fáil，因此Inis Fáil在浪漫主义诗歌里也是爱尔兰的代称。有可能是叶芝根据神话和诗歌给故乡的湖心岛取名Innisfree，茵岛又因此诗名闻四海。由于Innis意为岛屿，准确来说Innisfree应作芙莉岛或自由岛。鉴于叶芝原诗名为The Lake Isle of Innisfree（名为Innisfree的湖岛），且有民族主义意味，今袭旧称，仍作茵湖岛。

2、David Ross所写的Thatching: the Traditional British Craft提到，In the late 18th century thatched cottages became an extremely popular theme with the "picturesque" painters, who tried to portray an idealized (Romantic/sanitized) version of nature ( 18世纪末草堂成为风景画家的流行主题，后者以此来表现理想中的自然风光）。 3、叶芝自注是指帚石楠花的水中倒影。

4、Linnet即赤胸朱顶雀，因其头顶和胸部有红色羽毛得名，前人多译作红雀。俗称朱顶或朱点儿的白腰朱顶雀与其相似。

The Lake Isle of Innisfree

I will arise and go now,and go to Innisfree,

And a small cabin build there, of clay and wattles made;

Nine bean-rows will I have there, a hive for the honey-bee,

And live alone in the bee-loud glade.

And I shall have some peace there, for peace comes dropping slow,

Dropping from the veils of the morning to where the cricket sings;

There midnight's all a glimmer, and noon a purple glow,

And evening full of the linnet's wings.

I will arise and go now, for always night and day

I hear lake water lapping with low sounds by the shore;

While I stand on the roadway, or on the pavements gray,

I hear it in the deep heart's core.
