想当年我怎么就没有homesick指南呢?

I feel your pain. Here are 10 suggestions to cure your homesickness:
1. Finding some of your compatriots to spend time with.
2. Keep yourself busy with hobbies, sports, reading or other things that interest you.
3. Try making a list of 20 things you want to accomplish or experience before returning home and make sure you do at least one each week.
4. Keep in touch with friends and family from home ie. phone, text message, instant message, video chat, facebook, etc.
5. Write about your feelings ie. blog, personal diary, poetry, etc. Trust me this really helps.
6. Keep a piece of home with you to remind you of home. Pictures, food, art, music, your favorite blanket, etc.
7. Avoid those people who complain all the time and just ruin the atmosphere with their pessimism.
8. Make new friends. Surround yourself with beautiful people. Not aesthetically, but pleasant people who know how to enjoy life and enjoy their environment.
9. Stay focused on your goals and your reasons for being so far away from home in the first place. And one of those reasons I'm sure is to grow, gain new experiences and discover who you are in a foreign environment.
10. Come and hang out with your local couchsurfing family and enjoy the good times with locals and foreigners from all walks of life. You're bound to find some great people to spend good times with.
But above all you should embrace your situation and remember that home will always be there for you and you can return anytime you want. But while you're away live your life and experience as many things as you can before you return. The world is a big and beautiful place and if you take the time to appreciate your circumstances you will find that its people like you that make the world such a wonderful place to be.
