《摩斯探长前传》第二季第二集

Nocturne

1966世界杯英格兰冠军。这个赌球名单上，Holbrooks、Price、Dutton、Parks都是剧组成员的姓。

女孩们排队进入博物馆，唱着垂怜经“Kyrie Eleison”。1963年电影《蝇王》（Lord Of The Flies）里男孩们也是同样的出场方式。只有三句歌词，拉丁文是“Kyrie eleison，Christe eleison，Kyrie eleison”。

原创Colin Dexter这回是开场不久博物馆里一个专注的顾客。

路标上的“Midwich”，是John Wyndham的书“The Midwich Cuckoos”，书中有鸟巢里的杜鹃，非我族类的意思，杜鹃喜欢把蛋放在别鸟的家里。与本集情节呼应。

The Midwich Cuckoos (1957) 这本小说是关于一个安静的村庄里，所有育龄女子都怀了异族的孩子，所有孩子都有金色眼睛、淡金头发和苍白银色的皮肤。小说曾于1960年代翻拍成电影“The Village of the Damned”。

大宅取景处是Reddam House，在Wokingham，之前是Bearwood College。开场镜头里的湖是Bearwood Lake。

洛丽塔群像。有安雅-泰勒。

Karswell是M. R. James的小说“Casting the Runes” 里的人物，翻拍电影叫Night of the Demon。

英国文学引用。《爱丽丝漫游奇境》这本书在英剧《火星生活》里也有出镜。

本集有上集人物、大英小姐D-Day的巨幅海报。

“The Kraken Wakes”是Wyndham在1950年代最畅销的科幻小说之一。

根据这位的描述，“Argent between three pellets, a battle axe gules”，摩斯家的徽章应该是这个样子：

还是同一位徽章专家说“Sir Hilary is on holiday”，是007的梗，Ian Fleming的小说《女王任务》（On Her Majesty's Secret Service）里的Sir Hilary Bray出国访问Ernst Stavro Blofeld。

DI Church的造型是根据：

“Bunny Lake Is Missing”里的劳伦斯-奥利弗。

鬼船的名字其实是Mary Celeste。黄石衍生剧“1923”里也有鬼船出现。

摩斯看到的阁楼，与《远大前程》里对郝薇香小姐闺房的描写完全一致：

摩斯还发现一本维多利亚时期的圣经，画有火柴人。

柯南-道尔的小说“The Dancing Men”里也有火柴人，对破案极为关键。

菲茨欧文后面的这幅画：

应该是Joseph Mallord William Turner的“Fishermen at Sea”。

这个路牌上还有Crampton Hodnet，是Barbara Pym的一本书，故事发生地在North Oxford。

Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll：

夏洛特明显是唐氏综合征。
