The new moon late last month on February 27 also stimulated your career reputation, and with a fine beam between Uranus in Taurus and Saturn, Mercury, and Neptune in Pisces, you may have been paid a handsome sum for a recent project or soon will see that money arrive. Mars is currently circulating in Cancer and your solar third house, suggesting you are doing a lot of communicating—writing, speaking, editing, negotiating contracts, or translating—and this will keep up until April 17 when Mars leaves Cancer. This is the frosting on the cake. The job you will be offered, or the new client you will bring in, will elevate your career in a way you could not imagine as you started the month. Wait! There’s more wonderful news—good-fortune Jupiter is getting involved, too.
Jupiter, still in Gemini in your solar second house of earned income, will reach out to the Sun and eclipsed full moon, indicating that your income could rise.
This will also be a time of anticipation of what’s to come—the twelfth house is the last house of the horoscope—the house that is placed just before the wheel turns back to the first house of identity. It’s time to prepare for all the good that is to come later this year.
As I wrote my Year Ahead 2025 calendar I realized that 2025 would not start in earnest until the very end of May. We have a slew of frustrating retrogrades to deal with first, and it will be hard to make any decision fully “stick.” You may change your mind more than once, and the people you are (and will be) dealing with will be in the same frame of mind—uncertain and hesitant to commit to one course of action. Mars, which started to retrograde way back on December 6, finally, at long last, went direct last month on February 23, but it will take Mars until May 2 to be fully back to normal. Mars is the gas you put in your car to make it go—it is the planet of action—so when there’s no gas, there’s no go. That’s a date still within the realm of a frustrating May 12 full moon, so you’ll need to wait for the new moon May 26 to be fully free and ready to start 2025! The universe is deliberately putting roadblocks in your path to get you to slow down to take time to think and then plan.
Venus retrograde is not the time to start a new love relationship either—it is apt to cool off much too soon if you do. Don’t be blue—Venus will move into Taurus on June 5 (the best month of the year for everyone) and remain in Taurus until July 4. Luckily, at the same time starting June 17, Mars will enter your romance sector (fifth house) to boost your chances even more of finding love—here you have Venus and her lover Mars in the perfect positions. Mars will remain until August 6. To have both planets where you want them, circulate, and perhaps take a vacation at a nearby resort anytime during June 17 to July 4.
It is so clear that mid-year will be your best time for love. On August 11 Venus, your ruler, will be in Cancer and meet with Jupiter in Cancer (highly compatible to Taurus) in your house of short distance travel. Venus won’t be back to robust condition until May 16, so make a note to wait until after that date to swing into assertive action on any key initiative. The new moon May 26 is when you should begin to push new projects forward or find ways to make more money. If you work for others, use the days that follow May 26 to ask for a raise.
Adding complications, Mercury will also go retrograde this month from March 14 to April 7, overlapping Venus’s backward glide. Just as you experienced in January and February, progress will be slow. Everyone, of every sign will reassess the effectiveness of their approach, methods, and sources to find ways to become more efficient and productive.
